Convicted sex offender Amy Beck released from prison

Convicted sex offender and former Burbank school teacher, Amy Victoria Beck, is back on the streets again. Beck was paroled on March 20, 2011 after serving “… approximately 8 months in state prison,” according to James W. A giant tree knocked down by the stormy weather causes havoc in a Burbank neighborhood

Elizabeth Taylor: 1932 – 2011

Actress Elizabeth Taylor reportedly died this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center here in the Southland. The Hollywood superstar passed away at the age of 79. The cause of death, congestive heart failure, according to the Los Angeles Times website. The Times has photos and more on a complex woman who became a film legend.

Burbank campaign news: General Election ballots mailed out today, candidates Gabel-Luddy and Frutos on the hunt for votes
