Mega Millions jackpot grows to $244 million

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot is now super-rich. This morning another load of money got dumped into the double-M jackpot, after no one picked all of the correct numbers in last night’s game.
Tuesday’s winning digits: 10, 11, 12, 28, 43, and the Mega Ball 45. Three tickets bought in California matched all but the Mega Ball. Each of those tickets is worth $168, 654. The next Mega Millions draw is Friday, March 18, 8 p.m.
Will the Mega Millions jackpot reach $200 million? It’s heading in that direction. No one matched all of the winning numbers in last night’s game, so more greenbacks got stuffed into the jackpot, which now stands at $172 million!

The owner of that $10 million SuperLotto Plus ticket is no longer a mystery. Yesterday, Hollywood prop maker/Burbank resident, Brian McMahon, cashed in the ticket he bought for last Saturday’s SuperLotto Plus game at La Paz Liquor on West Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank.
McMahon is planning to “have a great life,” buy a new home, a new truck, and put aside s0me of his winnings for his family. He told lottery officials: “I want to make the money grow and secure my children’s future and my grandchildren’s future.”
The couple that owns La Paz Liquor, Daniel and Jin Roh, got $50,000 for selling that winning SuperLotto Plus ticket.
No one hit the jackpot by picking all of the winning numbers in last night’s Mega Millions lottery draw. The lucky digits are 5, 6, 7, 30, 45, and the Mega Ball 42. Two California tickets got all but the Mega Ball number right. Each is worth $105,764.
Also, we’ve got a local winner who scored big time on the day after Valentine’s Day. In last Tuesday’s draw, one ticket matched the winning numbers 17, 18, 24, 35, and 39 –but missed the Mega Ball number of 18. That ticket is worth $403, 806. It was sold at Black Jack Market, 12643 Sherman Way in North Hollywood.
