March 4, 2014 — Burbank City Council hosting a Town Hall Meeting at John Muir Middle School on Tuesday. The Town Hall meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Muir Middle School 1111 North Kenneth Road. Along with the city council, City Manager, Mark Scott, and other city staff will be there to answer questions and discuss issues of concern.

March 6, 2014 — City of Burbank’s Veterans Job Fair on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the McCambridge Recreation Center 1515 North Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank . The fair is aimed at military veterans, but is open to the public.Participating employers include Bank of America, Warner Bros, and Lowe’s Home Improvement. March 6, 2014 — Ideas Workshop at the Burbank Community Services Building, 150 North Third Street from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This is related to the Burbank Bob Hope Airport Area Ground Transportation and Land Use Study. It’s a follow-up  to the workshop held in June 2013 and will allow Burbank residents to review and provide input on the preliminary ideas on transportation improvements and land use options in the 540 acre airport study area.

March 8, 2014 — Landscaping Workshop 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m Saturday at the Community Services Building Room 104, 150 North Third Street Burbank. Learn basic landscape design and get information about California friendly plants, turf removal, and irrigation systems.
