Burbank Police are now calling this a case domestic violence that ended with attempted murder and a suicide. Police discovered a 50 year-old man, who had been fatally shot, in the cab of a tractor- trailer at Affordable Storage in Burbank early yesterday afternoon. A 47 year-old female was found wounded nearby. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

In a news release, police detectives said “… evidence and circumstances indicated that the husband attempted to murder his wife by shooting her, and then turned the gun on himself, committing suicide.” Niether victim has been identified.

Burbank Police investigators are searching for clues and answers surrounding a grim discovery. It happened at Affordable Storage, an RV storage lot, 3615 North San Fernando Boulevard, shortly before 1 p.m. this afternoon. Burbank PD officers arrived on the scene and reportedly found a”deceased male adult” and a “conscious female adult, ” according to a Burbank PD news release. The female had ” a gunshot wound” and was taken to the hospital.

The Burbank Police will only say there was a shooting and the circumstances are “suspicious.” When I asked Burbank PD Officer, Joshua Kendrick, how the male victim died, he said: “We are not sure at this time. Detectives are still conducting their investigation and we should know more in the coming days.”
