Disney Channel star, Bella Thorne, is now an actress, singer, dancer, and author. The 15-year-old has a new deal to write a YA, young adult, book series called, “Autumn Falls,” according to Galleycat. Not familiar with Thorne? Well, she’s co-stars in the sitcom, “Shake It Up,” and reportedly has 2.9 million followers on Twitter!

Sean Combs joins football movie cast

Hip hop artist, music mogul, entrepreneur, and actor, Sean “P.Diddy” Combs has been added to the ensemble cast of the football flick, “Draft Day.” Production reportedly has started in New York. The dramedy is about the NFL Draft, and along with a number of NFL players, the movie stars Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner. More details on The Wrap.

NBCUniversal plan wins approval

The much talked about NBCUniversal plan got an overwhelming  vote of approval from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors earlier this week, and construction is expected to begin this summer. Among the projects, upgrades on the Universal Studios lot and a new attraction, “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.” The entertainment giant claims the plan will create more than 30,000 jobs.  Deadline.com has more including the news release about it.
