Manhunt continues for two brothers in that horrific terrorist attack on a satirical magazine in France yesterday. The Writers Guild of America has announced nominations for outstanding achievement in writing for the screen during 2014. On the list, nominees for best original screenplay, adapted screenplay, and documentary screenplay. The American Society of Cinematographers has released its list of the best feature-film cinematography of 2014 . Nominees include “Birdman,” “The Imitation Game ,” and “Unbroken.”  ASC Awards to be hand out on February 15, 2015. More on the nominees on The Wrap

Costume Designers Guild Awards nominees came out yesterday. The awards honor costume design excellence in film, television and commercials in 2014. The list includes      “Gone Girl,” “Selma,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and the TV drama “Scandal.” The  awards will be presented at the guild’s ceremony on February 17, 2015.
