If you’re a fan of the popular CBS series, “NUMB3RS” or looking for that 15 minutes of fame or a jump start for an acting career, then you might want to place a bid in an auction on eBayThe Writers Guild Foundation is auctioning off a walk-on role on “NUMB3RS.”  It’s a fundraiser for charity.

I first read about the auction over on Chad Gervich’s Script Notes blog. There are more details on his site and on eBay. Also there are some requirements, therefore, you would probably want to check those out before bidding. So far, the bidding is up to $12 hundred. Apparently, there will be more than one winner, so it might be worth a shot if you’re really interested in appearing in a non-speaking minor role on a TV show.

“NUMB3RS” is about an FBI agent who gets help solving crimes from his math genius brother. The show is in its fifth season. The auction ends on Saturday, February 28, 2009.
