For months now, there has been chatter around B-town about former Burbank Airport Commissioner, Sue Georgino, and where her true loyalties lie. The hot button issue of a replacement terminal for the Bob Hope Airport will be discussed at two city council meetings this week.  Tomorrow at the regular scheduled city council meeting, members will have what Mayor Bob Frutos calls an “open-minded” discussion of the city’s proposal. Plan to rebrand Bob Hope Airport stalls

A plan to rebrand Bob Hope Airport as Los Angeles Burbank Airport has stalled and will not move forward to the full airport authority commission for consideration at this time. In fact, the Operations and Development committee kicked the plan back to the airport authority staff and the consultant firm, Anyone Collective, to do more research and seek input from more of the stakeholders. Burbank mayor speaks out about airport rebranding issue

Burbank Mayor, Bob Frutos, is on an urgent mission to reach out to as many residents as possible and he has very little time to do it.
