Burbank YMCA “Turkey Trot” Thanksgiving Day

The Burbank Community  YMCA will again be hosting its “Turkey Trot” on Thanksgiving Day.  Participants can run, walk, job or even push a stroller along the course. There will be various athletic levels, from serious runners to casual walkers. Kids are welcome. There will be a 5k and 10k. Special cash prizes for the top finishers in each category.

App the participants will free tee shirts and finish line photos. Adults can pre-registered for $40. Registration goes up to $45 on Turkey Day. Kids 9 years and younger, $15.

6:30am Day-of Registration/Packet pick up
7:00am Expo open
7:30am Warm up and announcements
8:00am 10K/5K competitive run start
8:15am 5K fun run/walk start
9:30am Kiddie Run start (ages 9 and under)

Burbank YMCA pancake breakfast fundraiser today

 Here’s a chance to help out a good cause and have breakfast as well. The 50th annual Burbank Community YMCA pancake breakfast is today from 7:30-11:30 a.m. at 321 East Magnolia Boulevard. On the menu pancakes, sausage, fruit,  juice, and coffee. The price, $5 per person. Children under 5 eat for free.
