Golonski dumped, Gordon gets the endorsement In a dramatic switch, the Burbank City Employees Association has pulled its endorsement of incumbent Councilman/Mayor, Dave Golonski, for another term. Burbank City Employees Association represents more than 750 employees and is the largest of the city unions, according to its website. Apparently some recent comments by Golonski raving about the benefits of outsourcing city jobs and work did not go over very well with these city employees. A big turnout for the 80th anniversary luncheon/celebration for the Burbank Coordinating Council on Monday, March 4, 2013. As a member, I joined many of the BCC faithful in attending this bash along with invited guests, volunteers from various non-profits, community leaders and activists. Burbank campaign news: Emily Gabel-Luddy speaks out on endorsements and some issues
It’s not over for Burbank City Council candidates Bob Frutos and Emily Gabel-Luddy. They’re locked in a run-off for a seat on the city council. The voters will decide who gets that vacant seat next month on April 12, in the General Election. Last week, Frutos picked up a surprise endorsement from newly re-elected council member, Gary Bric.
