A broken reclaimed water hydrant, on California Street near the Verdugo Recreation Center, spewed gallons of water into the air this morning  at around 9 :45 a m. More sunny skies and heat in B-town today

  It’s not even 9 a.m. and already the temperature is in the 70s here in B-town. It’s expected to be hotter than yesterday. A high of 95 is predicted for the Media City. A cool down is in the forecast for the weekend — with some rain possible on Monday and Tuesday. Change is good.
