Updated Saturday, November 10, 2012 President Obama officially declared the winner in Florida — raises his electoral vote total to 332.   Still no official results from Florida, but newly re-elected President Obama holds a narrow lead in that state today. Yesterday,  the Florida Democratic Party declared victory, in their state, for the president. On Election Day, President Obama won the popular vote and the all important electoral count: Obama 303 to Mitt Romney’s 206. A candidate needed 270 electoral votes to win the White House....   The 2012 presidential race is now a neck and neck horse race according to most polls — with some showing President Barack Obama with a slim lead. A Reuters/Ipsos tracking poll yesterday suggested 47 per cent of likely voters would cast their ballots for Obama for president and 45 per cent of those voters would pick GOP challenger Mitt Romney.
