Disney makes a big commitment to help typhoon victims in the Philippines, while new figures are out today on the human toll of that disaster. The government in the Philippines has upped the death toll from 4-to-6,000 and the number of missing to nearly 1,800. Typhoon Haiyan, considered one of the most powerful storms to ever make land, flattened or damaged the homes of 16 million people when it struck on November 8. Carrie Underwood donates $1 million for victims of tornadoes and other disasters

The damage estimate for a series of deadly tornadoes that barreled through the central part of the U.S. over the past few days is somewhere between $2 and $5 billion, according to a CNN report. As the crisis in devastated Japan worsens, concern grows in the U.S. Today President Barack Obama went to the Japanese Embassy in Washington, D.C. and wrote a message in a book of condolence, before heading to the White House rose garden to update the American people on that tragic situation. Jay Leno to do stand-up for Gulf Coast victims

Late Night TV host, Jay Leno, will soon be heading down South to perform a benefit for some victims of that devastating Gulf Coast oil spill.
