Update Burbank election ballots coming in at a fast pace

The mail-only ballots for the 2015 Burbank General Municipal Election are coming in at a fast pace. Last Tuesday, City Clerk, Zizette Mullins, reported receiving 7,100 ballots. Now, that number has jumped by more than a thousand.  “As of today we have received approximately 8400 ballots, at this point in the primary we received 7800 ballots and 7621 at the last general election, 2013,” according to Mullins. Election Day in Burbank — Get those ballots in!

Primary Election Day in Burbank. In order for your vote to count, you must get your mail only ballot into City Hall or one of the designated drop-off centers by 7 p.m. this evening. I went over to the Joslyn Center on West Olive Avenue this morning to drop off my ballot. The election team at the Joslyn Center was cheerful and excited about the primary election.
