Beer tasting at fall festival in Downtown Burbank on Saturday

Downtown Burbank is gearing up for tomorrow’s inaugural beer tasting and fall festival along several blocks of San Fernando Boulevard,  between Magnolia Boulevard and Angeleno Avenue.. For those with a love for suds, there will be reportedly 85 ice-cold craft beers on tap during two sessions of sampling: 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  “Each session will showcase both local and out of state craft breweries,” according to a news release. Art festival returns to Downtown Burbank this weekend

Downtown Burbank will be alive this weekend with the creative vibe and works of more than 100 artists from traditional painters, photographers, sculptors to special effects wizards and hip urban street painters. The art festival will once again take over several blocks of San Fernando Boulevard, between  Angeleno Avenue and Magnolia Boulevard. OktoBURfest in Downtown Burbank

Beer, food, and music at the OktoBURfest in Downtown Burbank. You’ll get to sample 60 different beer varieties from 25 plus craft breweries. KCRW DJ Gary Calamar will be providing the electric sounds. OktoBURfest will be held in a specially constructed Biergarten outdoors on San Fernando Boulevard between Olive Avenue and Angeleno Avenue in Downtown Burbank.

Tickets are $45 for general admission (2:00 to 7:00 PM), and $55 for the VIP reception (12 noon to 2:00 PM). VIP tickets include access to rare and high quality drafts. More ticket information, including discounts for seniors and groups http://downtownburbankoktoburfest.eventbrite.com

Downtown Burbank ARTS Festival wraps up today

Art lovers and the curious were drawn to a blocked-off section of San Fernando Boulevard, between Olive Avenue and Magnolia Boulevard, for the biannual Downtown Burbank ARTS Festival, yesterday.
