NASA prepares to launch saucer-shaped aircraft

It looks like some alien flying saucer, but it did not come from outer space. NASA’s saucer-shaped test vehicle is the creation of experts at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in nearby La Cañada Flintridge. Scientists hope it will lead to future missions on Mars involving human exploration. The aircraft is called the Low-Density Supersonic Decelerator (LDSD) project. President Obama releases long form birth certificate

 Today President Obama attempted to put the brakes on the rumor machine pumping out innuendo and cheap shots about his birth certificate. One of the requirements to run for President of the United States is that a candidate has to be a natural born citizen, according to the U.S. Constitution. In 2008, the Obama campaign posted a birth certificate normally sent out by the state of Hawaii. Regular gas breaks through the $4 barrier in the Media City

The price of regular gasoline has been hovering very close to that dreaded $4 a gallon mark for several days here in B-town. Today, for the first time, I saw stations with posted prices for regular at a little over $4 a gallon. I began reporting on the appearance of $4 a gallon gas in Burbank about two weeks ago.
