Campaign 2016: Clinton and Trump face off for second debate

The second presidential debate of 2016 has the potential to be more interesting and an even bigger test for embattled GOP nominee, Donald Trump. A lot of drama and surprises since the first face-off between the candidates last month. It is widely believed, Clinton trounced Trump in that first debate. Now, many see the second debate as an opportunity for Clinton to score a knockout. It’s been a tough week for Trump. Last Monday, during the one and only V.P. debate, GOP running mate,... Campaign 2016: Debates, polls, and the candidates

As  the vice-presidential candidates, Democrat, Tim Kaine, and Republican, Mike Pence, prepare for their first and only debate tonight, there is still plenty of fallout from the debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton last month. The presidential debate or rumble at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York back on September 26, was a much-anticipated face off between two candidates carrying their own bag of negatives and positives. When it was over, many — not including Trump, felt Clinton managed to downplay her negatives and come out the winner of the... Read More →

Latest poll shows Trump a turn-off for many women

While billionaire/reality TV star, Donald Trump, has won support from female voters in most of the GOP primaries and caucuses so far, apparently there are a lot of women out there not feeling the love for the irreverent presidential candidate. This month in a Reuters/Ipsos Poll, half of the women surveyed said they had a “very unfavorable” opinion of Trump — that is up from 40 percent in a similar poll taken last October. This survey was conducted from March 1-15 and involved 5,400 respondents. The poll may... Read More →

Republicans go after CNN and NBC over Hillary Clinton projects

The 2016 presidential race is still several years off, but there is already controversy swirling around one potential candidate and the GOP. Former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, hasn’t officially announced  another run for president, but some Republican Party leaders are so fearful of her candidacy they’re threatening two networks who are developing projects about the ex-First Lady. Yesterday a Republican National Committee unanimously passed a resolution quote “… preventing the committee from partnering with CNN and NBC for debates if they don’t drop their Hillary Clinton productions ahead... Bitter rivals Obama and Clinton become team players

File photo Aaron D. Settipane/WENN We had heard it was coming. Yet, I was still a little surprised when it actually happened. Today, President-elect Barack Obama introduced more nominees for his administration; among the players,  presidential rival New York Senator Hillary Clinton as the new Secretary of State. My, my, my what a difference a few months can make. On the campaign trail, Senator Clinton slammed Barack with everything she had for practically everything he said. Later, Clinton swallowed some of those nasty words and accusations and campaigned for Obama during the last leg of... Bill, Hillary, and that Obama cabinet job offer

Google Image -Bill and Hillary Clinton   I’m not feeling the Bill and Hillary Clinton love like I have in the past. Rumors are flying that President-elect Barack Obama is considering his former rival for Secretary of State. Senator Hillary Clinton has not said publicly if she is interested, but actions by her husband suggest she is. There are reports that Bill Clinton has agreed, for the first time, to release the names of big donors to the Clinton Foundation, submit to strict ethics review of his speeches, as well as...
