Mega Millions jackpot jumps to $190 million!

I may have to break down and buy a Mega Millions lottery ticket. The jackpot could soon crack the $200 million barrier. No big winner in last night’s draw prompted more money to be pumped into the jackpot — which now stands at $190 million. Here are Tuesday’s lucky numbers: 6, 10, 12, 28, 32, and the Mega Ball 38. The next draw is Friday, May 17.

Watch out for counterfeit currency Yesterday, City Hall sent out a crime alert e-mail warning about fake $100 bills being passed in Burbank. Los Angeles County businesses have seen a rise in phony $100 bills, according to the crime alert, which is posted on the city website as well. The U.S. $100 note is a favorite target of scam artists and counterfeiters around the world.
