Burbank Police admit they arrested the wrong man for murder! As reported here, BPD were called to a home in the 1900 block of Richard Street Sunday night and discovered the body of a woman. “The Shield” actor, Michael Jace’s, life has turned into a real police drama. Today the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office charged Jace with murder in connection with the shooting death of his wife last Monday.. Police say the actor called 9-1-1 Monday night to say he had shot his wife. April Jace was discovered in the hallway of the couple’s Los Angeles area home. She had been shot multiple times. Today a Chicago jury came back with a verdict in the murder trial involving the shooting deaths of three members of entertainer Jennifer Hudson’s family: her mother 57-year-old Darnell Donerson, brother 29-year-old Jason Hudson, and 7-year-old nephew, Julian King. The jury convicted the brother-in-law of the Oscar-winning actress on all counts. Thirty-one-year-old William Balfour faces a mandatory life in prison term. Crime Alert: Murder suspect arrested in Burbank

Burbank Police today announced the arrest of a 70-year-old man in connection with the death of his wife yesterday. Emergency crews responded to 815 North Valley Street near West Clark Avenue in Burbank at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.  They reportedly found 65-year-old Marie Brancato “…bleeding profusely from what appeared to be a traumatic injury to the back of her head.” Brancato was pronounced dead at the scene. During a police investigation the victim’s husband, Joseph Robert Brancato, was arrested and booked for suspicion of murder. He’s being held on bail of $1 million.... Read More →

The murder of Hollywood publicist,  Ronni Chasen, is looking more and more like a professional hit. Two weeks ago today, Chasen was gunned down in her Mercedes on Whittier Drive, south of Sunset Boulevard, in Beverly Hills at around 12:30 a.m.  A short time earlier, Chasen had attended a Hollywood party celebrating a the movie premiere of the musical, “Burlesque.” Several gunshots hit the 64-year-old press agent and according to The Wrap, a leaked coroner’s report says at least one of those was a hollow-point bullet. Update on Hollywood Publicist Ronni Chasen’s murder probe

Beverly Hills Police reportedly have a “working theory” about the murder mystery surrounding the death of well-known Hollywood Publicist, Ronni Chasen.  The Hollywood Reporter posted an article on its website today saying investigators believe the fatal shooting of Chasen was planned and not “the result of road rage or a carjacking gone awry.” This fuels speculation that the attack was a professional hit.
