“Casino Night” at The Castaway in Burbank

“Casino Night” is a very special event sponsored by the Burbank Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL), a mother-daughter leadership organization that supports various philanthropies in Burbank. All the proceeds from this “Magical Night Under the Stars” will be donated to local philanthropies such as Burbank Temporary Aid Center and Burbank Center for the Retarded.

Adults are welcome to join in an enchanting evening of good food, casino games and dancing. You do not need to be an NCL member. If you are interested in attending this spellbinding event, please contact Marti Kinson at info@nclburbank.org. tickets $60 each.

Also, they’re accepting applications for membership from mother and daughter(s) who would like to volunteer together and help those in need in our community. Food drive for BTAC at Burbank homecoming games

The Burbank chapter of the National Charity League is sponsoring community food drives at the Burbank High And John Burroughs homecoming games. They’re collecting for the Burbank Temporary Aid Center, which assists needy families and individuals. The football games will be played at Memorial Field on the Burroughs campus. Food collection boxes will be posted at the entrance to Memorial Field. The varsity game between Burbank High and Burroughs is on Friday.

Non-perishable items are needed like rice, canned and dry soups, pastas, cereals, pancake mix, syrup, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, canned meats and tuna. For more information contact Arlina Mayor (818) 818 404-1510 .

The Burbank chapter of the National Charity League is sponsoring community food drives at the Burbank High And John Burroughs homecoming games. They’re collecting for the Burbank Temporary Aid Center, which assists needy families and individuals. The football games will be played at Memorial Field on the Burroughs campus. Food collection boxes will be at the entrances to Memorial Field.  The JV and freshman teams play on Thursday.
