Burbank, like the rest of the Southland, is getting pounded by a major storm, which moved into our area last night packing strong winds and very heavy rain at times. This morning around 11 a.m., you could barely see through a heavy downpour along West Olive Avenue in front of Samuel’s Florist. Yesterday, the much anticipated storm rolled into Burbank and the rest of the Southland with periods of heavy rain and chilly temperatures. The chance of rain today is 90 percent. A major storm is set to dump a lot of rain on the Southland today and tomorrow. The chance of rain in Burbank is 100 percent on Tuesday. The weather watchers say we could get 1 to 2 inches of rain.
