Crime Watch: Armed robbery suspect, Burbank crime seminar

A suspect is in custody today in connection with a string of armed robberies in North Hollywood and Burbank. Three law enforcement agencies worked together to bring about the arrest of 37 year-old Michael Clouse of Georgia. After being alerted by both Burbank and North Hollywood Police, the LAPD arrested Clouse outside a North Hollywood hotel in 1100 block of Vanowen Street, last Thursday, November 30. Alert: Nail salon robberies in Burbank

Nail salons  and their clients have been put on the alert by the Burbank Police Department. The agency sent out a new release on Thursday warning about a series of nail shop robberies in Burbank and nearby Van Nuys. The robberies in B-town took place last month on July 24 and 27th, according to Sergeant Darin Ryburn, Burbank PD media relations.
