It was not the showdown many had hoped for, still it turned into the highest rated event  ever on American TV . The Seattle Seahawks ran all over the Denver Broncos in a one-sided game  — final score 43-8. Queen Latifah added to Super Bowl festivities

Entertainer and New Jersey native, Queen Latifah, is going to sing “America The Beautiful” during the pregame festivities for Sunday’s Super Bowl. The NFL and Fox Network made the announcement in a news release yesterday. Latifah’s performance and that of opera star, Renee Fleming, singing the national anthem will be televised before the game kickoff. Bruno Mars, whose album “Unorthodox Jukebox” won Best Pop Vocal Album at last Sunday’s Grammys, will perform during halftime. Super Bowl 2014: $4 million TV ads and opera singer Renee Fleming

Now that the playoffs are over and the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are headed to Super Bowl 2014, there is a lot of chatter on the Internet about other aspects of that big game.
