Garden Guru: Freaky weather and your vegetable garden

Lately, I’ve noticed as I walk my dogs and listen to customer’s comments and questions that this vegetable season has been a roller-coaster ride for people’s gardens. From the start of “warm” season vegetables(February), we had warm days, cool nights with just a bit of rain. Garden Guru: Growing winter veggies from seeds

 A couple weeks ago I had a class at work, which was about winter vegetable seed planting. Unfortunately, with that hot spell we had I talked those in attendance into waiting a bit for cooler temperatures — then start seed planting. Seed planting the winter veggies is pretty cool and easy.
