A photo shoot yesterday for the 2014-2015 cheerleaders at John Burroughs High School 1920 West Clark Avenue in Burbank. A string of vintage vehicles lined up in front of the school ready to take part in the photo snaps if called on.
Burbank Police Department has a winner on the force and it rolls on four wheels. The department’s vintage 1949 Ford police cruiser has won the 2012 California Peace Officers Association “Best Specialty Vehicle” award. The cruiser has been restored with donations from local businesses and individuals, according to a news release from the Burbank PD.
