Election Day for the California Primary 2016

Finally, Election Day for the California Primary 2016. Almost every day for the past few weeks, my mailbox has been stuffed with expensive flyers and political campaign literature clamoring  for my vote. Political endorsements were still filling up my voice mail yesterday. Late Monday, the results from the Puerto Rico primary came in. Today is Election Day — go vote

Today is Election Day all across the country. The November 4 General Election in California includes votes for governor and a number of propositions. Several  county measures and local offices are on our Southland ballot as well. Voters can find their polling place by texting the word “VOTE” to 69520. When was the last time you voted? I know many of you have no interest in voting and haven’t done so in years. Burbank has an election on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. We (the residents) have a chance to make a difference in the inner workings of our community by voting.
