The actress who sings the popular Oscar-winning song “Let It Go” in the mega animated hit “Frozen” (2013) is parting ways with her Studio City home. Idina Menzel, who won a Tony Award for her performance in the Broadway musical, “Wicked,” is selling the home with her ex-husband, actor Taye Diggs. The couple announced their divorce last December and Diggs, star of such TV series as “The Practice” and movies like “How Stella Got Her Groove Back” (1998) has moved on and reportedly found love again.
Meanwhile, Menzel’s career is soaring. In March,”Frozen” won the Academy Award for best animated film and “Let It Go” picked up the Oscar for best song. Last Tuesday, Menzel performed before the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. So after ending a 10-year marriage, Menzel and Diggs, have decided to sell their Studio City home.
In 2010, the entertainers bought the 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom on Oakdell Lane for a little over $2 million. Now, they’re willing to let it go for $2.995 million, according to the Zillow blog.
