For the second straight year, a Burbank resident is part of the winning team taking home the first place grand prize in the Doritos “Crash The Super Bowl” contest. Director  Scott Zabielski, reportedly pulled together the required 30-second TV commercial on a budget of only $2,000, according to KTLA . The commercial is called “Middle Seat” and stars Zabielski’s own small son.

Zabielski’s commercial along with the second place winner, “When Pigs Fly,” played during  yesterday’s Super Bowl XLIX.  The grand prize is $1 million and a “dream job” at Universal Pictures, which could include working with  “Pitch Perfect 2” director, producer and actress Elizabeth Banks. She is one of the contest judges. Banks gave Zabielski a shout out on her Twitter account.

Last year’s winner, “Time Machine,”  which cost only a few hundred dollars and starred Burbank actor Daved Wilkins of Burbank. Wilkins plays a guy who gives up his bag of Doritos for a ride in a makeshift time machine.
