It’s getting down to the wire for the 2014 Burbank Rose Parade float, “Lights… Camera… Action!” Volunteers are busy at the float construction and decoration site, 123 West Olive Avenue, getting the Media City entry ready for its debut in Pasadena on New Year’s Day.

Riding on the float, veteran writer/producer/director, Garry Marshall. He has a long history in film, television, and theater. Among his credits, directing Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in the popular romantic comedies, “Pretty Woman” (1990)  and “Runaway Bride”  (1999). Marshall is the co-founder of The Falcon Theatre, which operates year round in Toluca Lake/Burbank. Also, his son, Scott Marshall, will be the second rider on the float.
