CBS announced today its choice to replace David Letterman on the “Late Show.” The lucky selection is … Stephen Colbert of the award-winning satirical comedy show, “The Colbert Report.” Colbert is the writer, host, and executive producer of the show, which has a loyal following and has won a number of awards including Emmys, Writers Guild trophies, and a Peabody. Grammys: Daft Punk, high ratings, and bloated commercial breaks

The French helmet-wearing duo, Daft Punk, are probably feeling pretty lucky today and for good reason. They walked away with some the biggest awards at the Grammys last night, including, Record of the Year for “Get Lucky,” Album of the Year for “Random Access Memories,” and for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
