Actress Anna Kendrick signs on for DreamWorks’ Troll movie

Actress Anna Kendrick has a new gig. Glendale-based company, DreamWorks Animation, has announced the selection of Kendrick to play upbeat princess,”Poppy,” in a  new comedy musical, “Trolls.” Kendrick received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the Broadway musical “High Society” in 1998. Open casting call for new DreamWorks movie

Another big search for new talent. Entertainment heavyweight DreamWorks is holding an open casting call for a lead role in its upcoming film, “Welcome To People,” starring Elizabeth Banks and Chris Pine.
