Election News: Ballots go in mail and new meet & greet

Ballots for the Burbank General Municipal Election are scheduled to go into the mail today. About 61, 000 ballot packets are being sent out to registered voters in the Media City. Again, the election is mail in ballot only. You have to return the ballot envelope in the mail or drop it off at one of the designated drop-off centers. Burbank residents were able to watch the 2015 city council candidates express their views at a forum last Wednesday, January 28. It was held in Woody’s Cafeteria on the Woodbury University campus and began around 7 p.m. When not on the panel, the candidates mingled, chatted with supporters, potential voters, and each other. There’s a lot of talk around B-town about the city council candidates’ forum, at the Burbank Central Library over on Glenoaks Boulevard, last Thursday.
