A section of the I-5 freeway to be shutdown in Burbank this weekend

 Caltrans is planning a shutdown of a section of the I-5 freeway in Burbank this weekend.  The “5” is the nation’s busiest interstate, according to U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The upcoming closure is part of the ongoing Empire Project, which involves a series of improvements to the I-5 in Burbank between Magnolia Boulevard and Buena Vista Street.
