Updated: Pedestrian killed in fatal collision in front of Disney Studios

A fatal collision in front of the Walt Disney Studios on West Alameda Avenue in Burbank this morning, left one person dead. The fatality was a pedestrian. The tragic accident occurred just after 9 a.m. “A female adult was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in a marked crosswalk at Alameda Ave. and Lincoln St.  Two male adult occupants from that vehicle have been detained by police. A new grocery store will soon open in Burbank. Banners for Grocery Outlet are plastered on the old site of the Fresh & Easy store at 1625 West Verdugo Avenue. Grocery Outlet calls itself a bargain market and in its company statement claims:”We offer brand-name, quality products at up to 40-70% off conventional retail prices.” There are reportedly more than 260 independently owned Grocery Outlets in Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and California. Pedestrian injured at controversial intersection in Magnolia Park

An elderly woman was reportedly hit by a black sedan in a Burbank intersection considered to be dangerous by many in Magnolia Park. The accident occurred last Thursday, November 17,  at around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lima Street and Magnolia Boulevard. The accident forced Burbank traffic patrol officers to block off eastbound traffic on Magnolia for a while. The accident occurred when a black sedan attempted to turn onto Magnolia. Burbank Police looking for witnesses to fatal car vs train collision

If you witnessed that tragic car vs Metrolink train collision in Burbank last Tuesday, September 2, police want to talk to you. Walmart truck driver charged in deadly accident that injured comic Tracy Morgan

A Walmart truck driver has been charged in a horrific accident in New Jersey today, which killed one and injured several others — including comedian/actor, Tracy Morgan. Thirty-five year old, Kevin Roper of Jonesboro, Georgia,  was charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto, according to CNN. The accident occurred early this morning on the New Jersey Turnpike. Remembering five young car crash victims in Burbank

  Many in Burbank are grieving for the five you lives lost in that tragic car crash last Saturday. Burbank PD says the accident involved a single vehicle, a Nissan sedan, which was discovered around 4:13 a.m. September 28, “fully engulfed in flames” on San Fernando Boulevard near the Scott-Road off-ramp of the Golden State Freeway.  A female survivor was rushed to the hospital. There’s always some danger when you cross a busy street, however, Olive Avenue may be the deadliest street for pedestrians in Burbank. Last night, a man was hit and killed at Olive Avenue near Naomi Street.
