The U.S. Supreme Court today ruled that same-sex couples have a constitutional right to marry.The decision was 5-4 — with the court’s four conservative judges voting against the ruling. This means states must not only allow same-sex marriages, but must recognized these unions. It’s a landmark ruling and a victory for those who have fought long and hard for marriage equality. Demonstrators returned to Hobby Lobby in Burbank yesterday in small but determined numbers.They are protesting the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling, which allows the giant crafts and home decor retailer to refuse to cover certain forms of female birth control in its employee health insurance plan because of the religious beliefs of the owners. Protesters returned to the Hobby Lobby in Burbank yesterday to spread their message. The protesters are upset because Hobby Lobby won the right to opt out of providing certain female contraceptives in its employee health insurance plan for religious reasons.
