Alert for tenants in Burbank! A housing rights workshop is coming up very soon. The workshop will be Monday, February 24, 2020. The location is the Community Services Building, 150 North Third Street, room 104, in Downtown Burbank. The event will run from 6-to-8pm. The event is sponsored by the Housing Rights Center, a national non-profit/civil rights organization promoting fair housing, and the City of Burbank.
It’s fall. A good time to get into the composting groove. Check out one of the Composting During Droughts workshops. Learn how yard clippings can build soil, hold water, and save you money. Workshops are free and family friendly. Also, if you’re a Burbank resident you can get a free compositing bin.

One of those popular free landscape workshops is set for this Saturday at the Community Services Building in Burbank. If you were thinking about signing up — it’s too late. This workshop is closed.
